They are saying: when we will return to Medina, the dignified will exile the disgraced from there; while to Allah, His Messenger and to the believers are the dignity, but the Hypocrites are not knowing.
The co-operative and reconciling life between Muhajirs-the Migrants-and the Ansars-who helped the migrants-at Medina were intolerable to the Hypocrites. The Hypocrites who were majority in Medina were very enthusiastically looking forward for spreading even any simple mistake that happens from the believers who were minority at Medina. When the believers were returning to Medina after the battle ‘Banumusthalikha’, there aroused a dispute between two believers about taking water. By taking this chance as a golden opportunity to separate the Muhajir and Ansar, the Hypocrites told that when we, the superiors, return at Medina, we will deliver out the Muhajir, the inferiors who came to Medina without any address, from there. This verse was revealed criticising their such attitude. See explanation 59: 8-9.
The Hypocrites of today are having worse approach to the believers who are propagating Adhikr than the Hypocrites at Medina had towards Messenger and believers. As explained in verses 41: 21-68, these soulless and transgressing Hypocrites say their blind followers that you shouldn’t hear this Repeated Reading-Adhikr-which is the soul of Lord’s Book. The Arabic Qur’an Reading Fujjar including the Hypocrites and their blind followers are considering other people of Messenger’s community such as Jains, Budhas, Hindus, Jews, Christians, etc. as kafirs and the inmates of Paradise while claiming themselves as Muslims and inmates of Paradise. But since they do not utilise Adhikr as the Guidance, Mercy and Glad Tidings as told in verse 16: 89, they are not the Muslims who submitted all to the Lord. Actually they are the true disbelievers (true kafirs) for whom heinous punishment is kept prepared as explained in verses 4: 150-151. As explained in verses 54: 25; and 83: 29, these Mujirims who are the kuffar will ridicule the believer from this world saying that he is an odd liar. They are reading the verses 8: 22; and 25: 33-34 which say that those who do not utilise the intelligence and are deaf and dumb towards Adhikr are the worst creatures among thousand communities of Lord’s creatures, and such are in the worst place and are the most strayed. These Fujjar by showing their organisational strength and influence try to afraid the one in thousand believers, and deviate the believers from the straight path. While there is no any influence upon the believers who utilise Adhikr as the Shield and Safeguard, the plotting of these Hypocrites will turn to themselves as explained in verse 35: 10. See explanation 14: 46; 31: 22; and 58: 21-22.
