The disbelieving addressees of Messenger Muhammad at Mecca were the progeny of Messengers Ibrahim and Ismael. But they have strayed from the Straightpath gradually. Even though they were leading a life against the dos and don’ts of the Book of Ibrahim, they were arguing and priding themselves that they were following the way of their forefathers Ibrahim and Ismael. Through this verse, the literate disbelievers among them are asked whether you are leading a life according to the dos and don’ts of the Book of Ibrahim, who lived fulfilling the Covenant. Today, the Arabic Qur’an reading Fujjar, whose Ledger is in Sijjeen of Hell don’t follow Adhikr, which is the Truth from the Lord. Instead, they are following the false books written by the pseudo-prophets as explained in verse 2: 79, and are priding and boasting that they are the followers of Messenger Muhammad and are the inmates of Paradise. Actually, they are killing all Messengers and Prophets by accepting their names without following their way of life as explained in verses 3: 21-22. These Fujjar are obliged to familiarize Allah as the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind, and the Single Deity of mankind to all mankind. But without doing their duty, they are leading mankind to the darkness from the Light so that they are denoted as the worst creatures among a thousand communities of the Lord through the verses 8: 22 and 55.
