Nay, they wonder at a warner coming from among themselves; thus, the disbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing!"
The disbelievers of every period were asking Messengers and Prophets deputed to them: "Why a warner from mankind came to us, and why a warner from Angels didn’t come to us?" When the disbelieving hypocrites and their blind followers mentioned in verses 41: 26-29 and 48: 6 are reminded that Adhikr is the best interpretation of the Lord’s Book mentioned in verse 25: 33, they will raise so many allegations against Adhikr and the warner, and will say to their followers: "This is a wonderful thing, you don’t hear this Reading, this is an odd argument," etc., for preventing them from hearing and reading Adhikr. See explanation 25: 7-8, 32; 38: 8; and 64: 6.
