(Al-Baqara) 2 : 218
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أُولَٰئِكَ يَرْجُونَ رَحْمَتَ اللَّهِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
Indeed, those who believed, those who migrated and did Jihad for the sake of Lord Allah, those are expecting Allah’s Mercy; and Allah is the Forgiving, Merciful.
The Lord has taught through His Messenger that there is no migration after the Mecca Triumph. Today, the believer is commanded to do Jihad with Adhikr against the hypocrites and Kuffar who hide and reject It as told in verses 25: 62 and 66: 9. Verses 8: 72-75; 9: 16, 20, 71-72, 88; 16: 110; 29: 6, 69; 49: 15, and 61: 11 encourage the believers to do Jihad with Adhikr in the cause of the Lord. See explanation 2: 196.
