ADHIKR

This Surath containing 99 verses were revealed during the last time of Messenger’s Meccan life. The name “Al-Hijr (Stone Land)” was derived from verse 80 which says: “And surely, the inhabitants of Hijr rejected the Messengers”. It contains verses that are consoling the Messenger and the believers until Doomsday to brace their feet in the Straightpath. It also says that Lord penetrates Adhikr into the hearts of the Mujirims as a hot iron rod.

Lord Allah has already recorded whatever happens in the universe in His Book Adhikr. And It is safeguarded by Himself. It is 1 among 7 Suras which explains the historical events between Adam and Iblis. It warns that each group among the Fujjar who hides and rejects Adhikr are destined into 7 doors of Hell. Unlike every other Messenger, Messenger Muhammad was given the glorious Reading Adhikr including the Mother of the Book. The disbelievers mocked and rejected the Messenger and believers. The Surath ends by commanding the believer to serve the Lord alone and prostrate to Him by glorifying and praising Him until death comes.
