The lying, sinful forelock.
Allah explains the scene when Abujahil, who was telling only lies and was doing only sins against his conscious, tried to put a stone upon the Messenger who was performing the single prolonged prostration at the Ka’ba. By explaining this event, it is taught to the believers until the last day that they should be ready to face any oppression from the Hypocrites, entrusting upon the Almighty, Exalted and Dictator Lord, believing that He is capable of preventing any oppression from them. It is with this purpose that the Three Time Knower Lord Allah brought all these events through His Messengers’ lives. Since Adhikr–the Safeguard–is formed as a Book, whoever holds It, he holds the Lord Allah and is guided into the Straightpath as told in verses 3:101-102. So, it is impossible for anyone to do any harm to such believers.
The believers should pray the following prayer at the beginning of the day, which the Messenger used to pray. “Glory is to You, Oh the Lord of Jibrael, Meekael, Israfeel, and Azrael! The One who originated the heavens and earth, the One who knows the visible and invisible, Lord of us as well as everything, and who has the dominion of everything, we seek refuge in You regarding the evils from everything You hold the forelock of everything. On the Day of Judgment, You will judge among Your servants regarding the subjects mankind differ, so You guide us into the Straightpath with Adhikr–the Permission of You. Indeed, there is none to guide to the Guidance except You. You are the First, there is nothing before You; You are the Last, there is nothing after You; You are the Highest, there is nothing above You; You are the Innermost, and there is nothing without You. You help us to repay our debt, and make us prosperous from poverty.” See explanation 2:253; 11:55-56 and 61:14.
