(Ash-Sharh) 94 : 4
وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ

 And We raised your fame.

In the early period when the Messenger began public propagation of the Lord’s Message, the opponents of Truth raised false propaganda against him. They spread among the pilgrims coming to Mecca, especially during Hajj, and in marketplaces, that a new sorcerer named Muhammad had appeared, warning people not to be trapped by his words. They claimed that he raised new arguments and ideas, which caused separation between father and son, husband and wife, and among relatives.

Thus, the deputation of Muhammad as the Messenger was spread throughout the land by his opponents themselves. People began inquiring about the truth of the matter, and thereby the fame of Islam and the Messenger was raised even through the enemies of Islam. See explanation 17: 179.|

Even today, it is seen that the human Satan Hypocrites, whom Allah has killed, spread fabricated defamations, scandals, and speculations against the believer who propagates Adhikr. Yet, whatever plot is designed against the believer who utilizes Adhikr as the Shield and Safeguard, it will be turned back upon those who plotted it. See explanation 40: 25, 47-50; 41: 26-29.
