(Al-Infithwar) 82 : 3
وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ
And when the seas overflow.
Due to excessive heat, the ice mountains in polar and other regions will melt into water; the seas, unable to contain it, will overflow. Moreover, when the balance of the universe is lost and the earth is shaken, the seas will surge over the land. See explanation 6: 158 and 81: 6.
