(76) Al-Insan

This Surah got the name Insaan-Man- and Adah’r-the Period-from the first verse which says that “hasn’t a long period passed for man when he was nothing worth mentioning”. This Surah was revealed in the early period of Messenger’s Maccan life. In the Friday Morning Prayer Messenger used to recite Surah Assajada in the first “Rak’ath”, and Insaan in second “Rak’ath”.
This Surah reminds that mankind created in the Paradise is deputed in the earth with freedom to select the ways of grateful or ungrateful for undergoing trial. Along with describing the reward and enjoyment the virtuous people will get in the Paradise, it is also described the deeds and policies the virtuous should bring in practice. This Surah commands Messenger and believers not to obey the aimless Hypocrites and their heedless followers; and whoever seeks way to His Lord, he should take Adhikr as the Ticket. This Surah containing 31 verses ends by warning the disbelieving wrongdoers that painful punishment is kept prepared for them.
