ADHIKR

This Surah got the name Al Haaqa-The True Event-from the first verse. This was revealed during the early period of Messenger’s Meccan life. It points out the fact that the early people who rejected the True Event which is the Dooms Day were also wiped out. This Surah gives glad tidings to the believer who lives here under the light of Adhikr in a conscious that everyone should answer on the Day of Judgement about each and every moment of this worldly life that he will get his book of deeds in his right hand. It also warns the disbelievers who reject the Day of Judgement by hiding and rejecting Adhikr that they will get their book of deeds in the left hand and they will be tied up in the Hellfire with the chain having seventy cubit length in the shape of dog.
This Surah containing 52 verses ends saying that this Reading is not the words of any poet or astrologist, but it is revealed from the Lord of the worlds upon a noble Messenger through Angel Jibreel, and by warning that to the disbelievers who reject It, it is a cause of sorrow, and by informing that It is a Ticket to the Heedful, and by commanding to glorify the great Lord.
