Then whoever can’t afford it—then he should observe fasting for two continuous months before having sexual contact; then whoever can’t do it—then he should feed sixty indigents; that is for those who believe in Allah and His Messenger; these are the boundaries of Allah, while for the disbelievers is painful punishment.
This verse explains the ransom for doing ‘Dhihar’ to the wife. Succeeding this, verse 33: 4 prohibiting ‘Dhihar’ was revealed. But today the Fujjar who are reading these verses in the Arabic Qur’an are leading a life against the dos and don’ts of Adhikr, not only in their married life but in all parts of their life. So the verses these disbelievers have seen, heard, touched, and read will argue and witness against them and will push them into the Hellfire as explained in verse 9: 82.
