ADHIKR

This Surah got the name ‘Al-Qamar-The Moon’ from the first verse ‘The Moon split ascender’. It was revealed in the last of the middle period of Messenger’s Maccan life. This Surah warns that even though the disbelievers are shown the Moon as split ascender being the sign from the Lord Allah, they won’t be ready to accept the Truth. On the day the Last Hour happens, the disbelievers will say that this is a hard Day. This Surah warns quoting the history of  people lived before such as people of Noah, Aad people, Thamood people, people of Looth, etc. who had rejected the Warners deputed to them saying that ‘An odd liar’, and being the consequence of it, they were affected with punishment.
The verses of this Surah inform that Adhikr which is the Message of Lord Allah to His entire creatures is made very easy to understand with the hearts, and thus warn to learn lesson from the history of former generations who had been destroyed. It also warn that the Mujirims who don’t utilize Adhikr after receiving It are in stray and in madness, and that they will be dragged into the hell on their faces. This Surah containing 55 verses ends by giving Glad Tiding that since the believers who testify Adhikr are preparing Paradise in this fourth phase, they will be seated on the seat of Truth on the Day of Judgement near the Almighty King of kings.
