And if people of the Book become believers and heedful, We will surely cancel their evils from them, and We will enter them to the Paradise full of eternal bliss.
The people of the Book during the revelation of this verse are the Jews and Christians. Today, the Splendid Book Adhikr is the Guidance from the Lord to the entire mankind. Adhikr is the Ticket to return to Paradise and Safeguard against Hell. And It is the Permission of the Lord to become a believer as explained in verse 10: 100. So only with Adhikr, one can transform his evil deeds that happened before getting It into good deeds and become a believer as explained in verses 25: 68-70. Adhikr only explains about the Record Book fastened around everyone's neck which will not omit a deed or thought unless recorded in It as explained in verses 17: 13-14.
The people of the last Messenger are now the people of the Book who are responsible for propagating Adhikr to entire worlds. But by making their food 'rejecting Adhikr' they have become the Arabic Quran reading Fujjar as explained in verse 7: 27. They are learning, teaching, and propagating Fujjar books written by the pseudo-prophets and hypocrites as explained in verse 2: 79. So they will be dragged prone on their faces into Hell, they are in the worst place, and they are the most strayed as explained in verses 25: 33-34. See explanation 2: 25; 3: 133-136, and 4: 123-124.
