(Al-Fath'h) 48 : 24
وَهُوَ الَّذِي كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنْكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ مِنْ بَعْدِ أَنْ أَظْفَرَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرًا
And He is the One who restrained their hands against you, and your hands against them at the valley of Mecca after you got Victory upon them, and Allah is observing whatever you are doing.
After getting a clear triumph for the Messenger and believers over Meccan pagans on the Day of Meccan Victory, which happened in the 8th year of Hijra (the Messenger’s migration from Mecca to Medina refers to the Hijra), it was Allah who made it a bloodless victory.
