(Zukhuruf) 43 : 5
أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنْكُمُ الذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا أَنْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا مُسْرِفِينَ
Then shall We keep away Adhikr from you because you are a transgressing people?
Through this verse it is asked that the Maccan pagans, the addressees of the Book while revealing It, if are rejecting It, do they think that It will be given to any other people without giving It to them. But today, the people of Messenger Muhammad, who have inherited the Lord’s Book as told in verse 35: 32, if are hiding Adhikr, It will be entrusted to other people of Messenger’s community who will not hide It as explained in verses 6: 89-90.
