Then hold fast to whatever is inspired to you; indeed, you are upon the Straightpath.
As explained in verses 42: 52-53, the Straightpath is the only way the Splendid Book—Adhikr—submits, and that is the only way all Messengers and Prophets existed, and to that way they all invited mankind. So the believers should also do so. The believers are commanded to utilize Adhikr as the Shield and Safeguard against all calamities, disasters, illness, and Hellfire, as well as the Ticket to Paradise. That is the meaning of what Allah taught through His Messenger in his farewell pilgrimage: that in the last period—when there is no group of believers anywhere in the world—the literate odd believer should live biting Adhikr with his molar teeth.
