(Az-Zukhuruf) 43 : 42
أَوْ نُرِيَنَّكَ الَّذِي وَعَدْنَاهُمْ فَإِنَّا عَلَيْهِمْ مُقْتَدِرُونَ
Or if We show you what We have promised them, then We are capable over them.
That means Almighty Allah is capable of saving the believers beyond cause and reason, and punishing the disbelievers. Since Adhikr—the Splendid Book in which no falsehood enters, as told in verses 41: 41-42 and the Unbreakable Rope extended from Allah, as told in verse 2: 256—is formed today as a Book, the believer who holds fast to It will not be affected by disaster or calamity. Moreover, if the disbelieving people among whom he is living are subjected to punishment, Allah will save him beyond cause and reason. See explanation 10: 103; 13: 40; 40: 77; and 41: 30-32.
