And they did not differentiate except after they received the Knowledge, due to envy among them; and if the word from your Lord had not been fixed for a time, judgment would have been taken among them. Indeed, those who inherited the Book after them are surely in never-ending doubt regarding it.
Knowledge is one of the forty names of Adhikr. In every period, the people of the Messengers were divided regarding the Book after It had come to them, due to envy among them and the ego that “I must be superior and a leader.” Actually, this is against what the Lord’s Book teaches. Such people do not consider the teaching of verses 59:9 and 64:16, which say that whoever is free from the covetousness of the soul, such are the only prosperers. Through this verse, it is taught that if the Day of Judgment, in which decision will be taken regarding the matters mankind is divided upon, had not been fixed, then judgment would have been taken without delay. The Fujjar among the people of the Messenger, who have inherited the Lord’s Book as told in verse 35:32, but ignored the Soul and Adhikr, consider only the Arabic Qur’an, which is the body of the Lord’s Book. Just as they do not know what their own body, life, soul, and Rooh (Spirit) are, they also do not know what is the body, life, soul, and Rooh of the Lord’s Book. But the believers, without postponing their reckoning to the Day of Judgment, will judge in their individual, family, and social life with Adhikr in this world itself, approving verses 5:44, 45, and 47 respectively. Thus, they ensure that they are the “one in a thousand” believer destined for Paradise. Such alone are approving Allah as the Impartial and Adhikr as Criterion, Insight, and Trust. All others who do not do so, from among the people of the Messenger Muhammad, are the 999 out of a thousand who will go to Hellfire, as explained in verse 4:118. The ledger of such Fujjar is in Sijjeen of Hellfire, as told in verse 83:7. Adhikr—the Balance and Trust to keep the universe in equilibrium—was revealed to punish these Fujjar, as explained in verses 33:72-73; 48:6 and 98:6. See explanation 2:2-3, 213 and 41:26-29.
