Oh my people! You have the kingship of earth openly today; then who is there to help us if any disaster from Allah comes to us; Pharoah said: I never show to you except what I see, and I don’t guide you except to the Right.
“You have the kingship of the earth openly today” means that even though you have kingship in the earth openly today, the real kingship and sovereignty of earth and heavens belong to Allah, the Almighty. The believer is asking them if they ignore Allah’s Message, they will be affected by a disaster from Allah, and then who will be there to help them. Then Pharaoh replies “I am on the Right way, and I am leading you on that path.” Verses 7: 146-147 say that those who are arrogant in the land without knowing the Truth, Adhikr, will surely be diverted from His verses; if they see the Right way, they won’t accept It; if they see the wrong way, they will accept it.
