(Mu'amin) 40 : 28

And a believing man from Pharoa’s family who was hiding his belief asked: Do you kill a man who says Allah is my Lord, and who has brought a clear Evidence from your Lord; and if he is telling lie, then it is upon him, and if he is truthful, you will be affected with some of his promise, indeed Allah won’t guide the one who is trespasser, the liar.

The man mentioned in this verse was the only one from Pharoa’s side who accepted belief in Moosa. This man who hid his belief was declaring his belief openly when Pharoa was tempting to endanger Moosa. The moral lesson the believers get from this event is that when a believer faces any attack from disbelievers’ side, other believers should come forward openly to help the believer. “Indeed Allah won’t guide the one who is trespasser, the liar” means, not only Pharoa, but any hypocritical liar may be if he hides and rejects Adhikr which is the Food, Clothe and Sight of human soul, Allah won’t guide such arrogant in to the Straightpath. See explanation 9: 80-82; 10: 33; 40: 6.
