(Annisa) 4 : 174
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ بُرْهَانٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَأَنْزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ نُورًا مُبِينًا
Oh, you mankind! Surely Proof has come to you from your Lord, and We have sent down a Clear Light to you.
The Proof mentioned in eight places such as in verses 2: 111; 21: 24 and 28: 75, and the Light mentioned in thirty-two places such as in verses 7: 157; 14: 1, and 64: 8 are Adhikr. Remember that this verse is addressing the whole of mankind. Adhikr is the Truth and Proof sent down to all 313 Messengers as told in verse 21: 24. So, for accepting any deed, one should have Proof from Adhikr. See explanation 2: 111-113.
