(Ali-Imran) 3 : 153

When you fled without even looking back at anyone, the Messenger was calling you again from your rear, then He affected you distress over distress so that you don’t feel sad upon what you had lost, and for what afflicted to you; and Lord Allah is Well-Acquainted with whatever you are doing.

The followers of Messenger retreated and ran by leaving the booty of war which they desired a lot, their weapons, companions, and even their leader, thus they were affected sorrow over sorrow. This verse addresses the hypocrites who don’t agree on the fact that the control of all creatures is with the Lord of the worlds. The Arabic Quran reading Fujjar upon whom Lord’s wrath and curse are affected are denoted as the worst among thousand communities of Lord’s creatures as explained in verse 8: 22. They are being deaf from hearing the Book Dhikree as well as dumb from talking about It to others.

Believers are always with a conscious that the Three-Time-Knower Lord is the One Who has already decided and inscribed in his Three-Time-Knowledge Adhikr whatever happens in the universe. They are also aware of the fact that the Lord has fastened the Fate of every mankind upon their neck which will be produced as an Illuminating Spread Open Book for their Reckoning on the Day of Judgment as explained in verses 17: 13-14. Believers always glorify the Lord as: “Glory be to the One Who has Acquainted Observer of the offenses of His servants. Glory be to the One Who Knows the treachery of eyes and what is hidden in the chests. Glory be to the One Who is with us wherever we are. Glory be to the One Who exists in between the person and the heart of the believer. Glory be to the Lord! Nothing is hidden from Him either in the earth or heaven, He is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing”. See explanation 2: 157, 255, and 9: 67-68.
