(Furqan) 25 : 1
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ الْفُرْقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ لِيَكُونَ لِلْعَالَمِينَ نَذِيرًا
Blessed is the One Who sent down the Criterion upon His Servant, so that he may be a warner to all worlds.
The Criterion is one of the 40 names of Adhikr mentioned in 6 places. It is to differentiate the Straightpath and the crooked paths in every sector of one’s life as explained in verse 2: 185. See explanation 6: 155-157; 21: 107-108 and 23: 117-118.
