(25) Furqan

This Surath containing 77 verses got the name ‘the Criterion’ from the first verse. Verses of this Surath is revealed during the mid-Meccan life of the Messenger. It contains verses that reply to the false accusations on Messenger and explains to them the consequence of such falsehood deeds. Those who reject Adhikr after receiving It are the worthless people, and all their deeds are futile. The wrongdoing disbelievers who hide and reject Adhikr will wail on the Day of Judgment by biting their hand if they had selected the Messenger’s Way. Such wrongdoers will also wail: “Woe to me if I hadn’t selected so-and-so as my intimate friend; indeed, he has misled me from Adhikr after It had reached me, Satan was ever a traitor to mankind”. It is warned that the Fujjar who rejected the Best Interpretation of Lord’s Book Adhikr in this life will be dragged prone on their faces into Hell, they are in the worst place and they are the most strayed. When the people of Messengers become wrongdoers and transgressors by rejecting Adhikr, they are wiped out by saving the Messengers and believers with them. It is commanded not to obey the Fujjar, instead should do great Jihad with Adhikr against them. This Surath contains verses that introduce Allah Who Created mankind from water and made for them lineage and marriage relationship. Messenger and believers shouldn't ask for any reward for conveying Adhikr. The Messenger and believers are commanded to ask about the Impartial Three-Time-Knower Lord to the Three-Time-Knower who is the author of Adhikr. Verse 60 is 1 of the 15 verses where Prostration of Recitation is commanded. But the soulless Arabic Quran reading Fujjar who didn't consider Lord as the Impartial will not Prostrate. This Surath ends by explaining the characters of the believers who are the beloved servants of the Lord and explaining the rewards they have.
