ADHIKR

This Surath having 78 verses got the name Hajj (pilgrimage) from verse 27 which says: “And you call mankind for pilgrimage”. It contains verses that are revealed both in Mecca and Medina's life of Messenger. This is the only Surath which contains 2 verses of Prostration of Recitation.

The Arabic Quran reading Fujjar who have made their food ‘rejecting Adhikr’ are earning Hell as a fine for their aimless and heedless life in this world. They are serving Satan even though they are calling Allah by their mouth. Satan is not obstructing them from the Arabic Quran but Adhikr. These Fujjar are like falling from the sky without any hold. They will never do the Prostration of Recitation. They are earning punishment from the Lord by obstructing other people from entering the Sacred Masjid at Mecca. Lord has put a lid on their ears and a veil on their hearts for not hearing and understanding Adhikr. They are the firewood of Hell and they will have the clothes of fire and scalding water there.

This Surath teaches that neither the flesh nor the blood of the sacrificial animal is reaching to Lord, but it is the heedfulness of the soul that reaches to the Lord. So any deed without the participation of the soul will be vain. Adhikr is the Herald for those who became a believer with It. The believer should holdfast Lord by holding Adhikr so that he will be guided into the Straightpath.
