(Isra) 17 : 31

And don’t kill your children in fear of poverty. We provide food for them and you. Indeed, their killing is ever a great sin.

None has the freedom to select caste, religion, parents, children, sex, color, the era of birth, and death. For every creature, the soul is of the Creator Lord. It is told in verse 25: 68 that the beloved servants of the Impartial Lord don’t appeal to anyone besides Him, nor kill any soul whom He has forbidden except with the Truth, and will not fornicate. If anyone kills a soul except for murder or doing mischief in the land, it is as if he is killing the entire mankind; and if anyone saves a soul, it is as if he is saving the soul of entire mankind as explained in verse 5: 32. During the Ignorance period before the deputation of Messenger Muhammad, Meccan pagans have killed their children for many reasons including the injustice existed in the society towards female and fearing poverty as explained in verses 6: 137.

Today, such heinous sins are more seen in the Arabic Quran reading Fujjar who hide and reject Adhikr than any other people. So they are denoted as the worst creatures who don’t utilize their intelligence as explained in verse 8: 22. See explanation 7: 157-158 and 9: 67-68.
