(12) Yoosuf

This Surath contains 111 verses. It is revealed all at a time as a reply to the questions of Meccan pagans on how the Children of Israel reached in Egypt. It explains the historical events related to Messenger Yoosuf. Just like the brothers of Yoosuf tried to hurt him, Meccan pagans were also trying to hurt Messenger Muhammad. So by revealing this Surath, Lord of the universe warns that nobody can degrade or hurt the true believer who is entrusting everything upon Him. Lord is teaching the believers by stating that after every difficulty state, there will come easy state. It also teaches that whoever tries to plot against the believer, the consequence will affect himself. Whoever purifies his/her soul with Adhikr, returns and repents to Lord, such believer’s wishes will be fulfilled in this world itself. By giving back the sight of Yaqoob, Lord teaches that one who keeps up patience in his distress and sorrows and entrusts only upon Lord, Lord will bless such Muhsins beyond reasons. When all the people become transgressors and the Messengers become hopeless, the punishment of Lord will happen and He will save the Messenger and the believers with him beyond reasons. Anyone including Messengers can’t make most of the people believers. Most of the people will not believe with Allah except as associating others in the Dominion of Him. Lord will not repel the punishments and distresses upon the Mujirims who hide and reject Adhikr which testifies and safeguards all the 312 Books revealed before and their upright Explanations. The one who testifies Adhikr and utilizes It as the Guidance and Mercy will become a believer.
