(Hood) 11 : 90
وَاسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُوا إِلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي رَحِيمٌ وَدُودٌ
“And you seek forgiveness from your Lord and then you repent into Him; indeed, my Lord is Merciful, Affectionate”.
The Impartial Lord has given each soul both its false way and its good way, as stated in verses 91: 7-8. This means that the Lord has provided Adhikr from Paradise itself, as explained in verse 4: 40. Evil originates from oneself, while good comes from the Lord, as outlined in verses 4: 79 and 8: 51. This is echoed in verse 85: 14: “And Lord is the Forgiving, the Affectionate.” A believer who testifies to Adhikr recognizes 'Affectionate' as one of the Lord’s Best Names, as revealed in the Best Book. See explanation 1: 2; 6: 126; 7: 153; and 17: 109-110.
