Or if he is commanding with Heedfulness.
As explained in verse 11:5, when Meccan pagans were performing circumambulation in nude around Ka’ba, the Messenger was praying to the Lord with soul by performing a single prolonged prostration. The motionless condition of Messenger in that prostration is meant by “the commanding with Heedfulness” mentioned in the verse. It is told in verses 17:107-109 that You say: “You believe with It or not believe; indeed, those who were given Knowledge before It, when It is explained upon them, they fall upon their faces in Prostration”. And they will say: “Glory is to our Lord! Indeed, the Promise of our Lord will be fulfilled.” And they fall upon their faces as weeping, and It increases to them humble submission. See explanation 22:18, 77-78, and 40:60.
