(Al-Ghashiya) 88 : 19
وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ

And at the mountains—how firmly they are set up?

This verse teaches that mountains are fixed on the earth like nails. Yet today the Arabic Qur’an–reading Fujjar—who bear the Lord’s Book like donkeys bearing a burden, as told in verse 62: 5—while reading these verses, also engage in destroying the universe by moving hills and mountains from their places and filling them into fields and lowlands to build huge structures, which causes the loss of the earth’s balance, as explained in verse 30: 41. As explained in verses 6: 26; 20: 99–100; and 33: 72–73, due to the mischievous deeds of these transgressors, the universe will be destroyed, and they themselves will bear its burden before the Impartial Lord. See explanation 27: 88; 35: 45; and 46: 35.
