(At-Thakhveer) 81 : 2
وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انْكَدَرَتْ
And when the stars fall down.
This verse mentions some signals that will happen with the coming of the Last Day. On that Day, the sun will be folded up, as if it has no light. See explanation 75: 8-9. As explained in verse 30: 41, due to the deeds of mankind, changes will be made to the structure of the earth, and the earth will be displaced from its orbit. Along with that, other planets and stars also will be displaced from their positions, striking one another and being destroyed. See explanation 16: 61; 35: 45; and 36: 40.
