(Al-Anfal) 8 : 45
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا لَقِيتُمْ فِئَةً فَاثْبُتُوا وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ
Oh those who believed, when you meet a force, stand firm and remember Lord Allah plenty so that you might be successful.
Lord showed the enemies as few for believers to increase their confidence. And He showed the believers as few for disbelievers so that they would approach the battle with the silly mind. Thus, the consequence of battle was in favor of believers. Verses such as 3: 130, 200; 5: 35, 90, 100; 7: 69; 22: 77; 24: 31 and 62: 10 end as: “So that you might be successful”.
