And you don’t be like those who say: "We have heard," while they are not listening.
Since Adhikr is the Speech of Lord Allah for the entire mankind, when Messenger or believer explains It, believers will not turn away from It or will not say: “We have heard” without understanding It. While reading or hearing Adhikr, believer always pray with the soul as: “Oh my Lord! Increase my Knowledge”. But the disbelievers are fleeing away from Adhikr—the Ticket to the Paradise—like the wild donkeys are fleeing by hearing lion’s roar as told in verses 74: 49-51. It is told in verse 51: 50 ‘flee to Lord Allah’. That means to flee into Adhikr-Lord’s Book- which submits Lord Allah and the aim of life. It is told in verse 47: 16: “And among them are there who listen to you, until when they depart from you, they ask those who were given Knowledge: "What he has just said now?" Those are the ones of whom Allah has sealed upon their hearts and who have followed their whims”.
It is told in verse 64: 16: “So you heed Lord Allah as much as you can, and you listen and obey, and you spend in the way of Lord; it is better for yourselves. And whoever saved his soul from the covetousness, then such will only prosper”. It is told in verse 2: 285: “The Messenger believed with what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and so do the believers; everyone believed with Lord Allah, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers; We don’t differentiate between anyone among His Messengers, and they say: “We heard and we obeyed. Oh, Our Lord! You forgive us, and unto You is our returning”. See explanation 4: 46, 136; 5: 61; 6: 25-26 and 7: 204-206.
