You awake in the night except a little.
Through this verse Messenger is commanded to awake from the sleep and perform prayer except a little time in the night. Messenger was getting verses as revelation from Lord mostly in the prayer. That is why it is told in verse 20: 14 that you establish prayer in order to establish Dhikree. It is told in verse 29: 45 that You read and convey what has been revealed to you of the Book, and you establish prayer; indeed, prayer prohibits shameful and forbidden things, and the Adhikr-the Remembrance of Lord Allah-is the greatest, and Allah knows whatever you have been producing. As explained in verses 17: 13-14; 18: 49; 23: 662-64; 36: 12; 45: 28-29; 58: 6; and 78: 28-29, in the book of deeds fastened upon everyone’s neck, nothing is omitted without being recorded whether small or big; and on the Day of Judgement the reckoning of everyone will be conducted by reading it himself/herself after giving It as an illuminated spread open book. When the verses 96: 16-19 was revealed in the 45th age of Messenger Muhammed, Maccan pagans including the male and female were encompassing Ka’ba as nude. At that time the prayer of Messenger Muhammed was one single prolonged prostration. Surah 96 ends as “then you perform prostration, you seek approach of Lord”. Lord has taught through His Messenger that servant is closest to the Lord in prostration; and so he should do Jihad in the prostration”. That means everything which one wants should be asked in prostration”.
As explained in verses 7: 205-206, since there is no any group of believers anywhere in the world, there is no congressional prayer today. So the odd believer should read Adhikr-the Best Interpretation of Lord’s Book-in the dawns and dusks, and should do prolonged prostration of recitation, and should propagate Adhikr throughout the world aiming to form the harmony of mankind. He should also involve in organic farming and planting trees aiming the welfare of thousand communities of Lord’s creatures, and should encourage and help others to do so. Moreover, according to the command of the verses 9: 73; 25: 52; and 66: 6, he should do Jihad towards the Hypocrites and Kuffar who are obstructing the propagation of Adhikr. See explanation 2: 2-5; 5: 48; and 51: 50.
