(Al-Ahraf) 7 : 138
وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتَوْا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ يَعْكُفُونَ عَلَىٰ أَصْنَامٍ لَهُمْ ۚ قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى اجْعَلْ لَنَا إِلَٰهًا كَمَا لَهُمْ آلِهَةٌ ۚ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ
And We led the Children of Israel across the sea, then they happened to pass upon a people who were dedicating the idols for them, they said: "Oh Moses! You make a Deity for us just like the deities they have"; he said: "Indeed you are an ignorant people".
