(Al-Qalam) 68 : 10
وَلَا تُطِعْ كُلَّ حَلَّافٍ مَهِينٍ
And you don’t obey any despicable vain oath taker.
This verse commands Messenger and believers not to obey anyone from the Hypocrites who deserve heinous punishment for swearing what is not in the hearts and not doing what is telling to others as explained in verses 2: 44; and 61: 2. See explanation 31: 5-6; 58: 17-19; and 63: 1-2.
