Thus on that Day, no human or Jinn will be asked about his offences.
‘Will not be asked’ means Allah won’t conduct the Trial of them or won’t give a chance to them for rectifying their offenses and sins. Instead, the skins, sights, hands, and legs, etc., of Mujirims will witness against them. Moreover, as explained in verses 17: 13-14, the Book of Deeds fastened upon their neck will be given to them as an illuminated open book and will be told to them: "You read your book, today you are enough for conducting your Trial." Thus, the Trial of everyone will be conducted by each individual.
