(Ar-Rahman) 55 : 39
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَا يُسْأَلُ عَنْ ذَنْبِهِ إِنْسٌ وَلَا جَانٌّ

Thus on that Day, no human or Jinn will be asked about his offences.

‘Will not be asked’ means Allah won’t conduct the Trial of them or won’t give a chance to them for rectifying their offenses and sins. Instead, the skins, sights, hands, and legs, etc., of Mujirims will witness against them. Moreover, as explained in verses 17: 13-14, the Book of Deeds fastened upon their neck will be given to them as an illuminated open book and will be told to them: "You read your book, today you are enough for conducting your Trial." Thus, the Trial of everyone will be conducted by each individual. It is told in verse 83: 15 that there will be an invisible veil between the Fujjar and Allah in the Hereafter so that they can’t see Allah. See explanation 36: 65; 45: 28-31; 50: 27-30; and 69: 25-37.
