(Ar-Rahman) 55 : 39
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَا يُسْأَلُ عَنْ ذَنْبِهِ إِنْسٌ وَلَا جَانٌّ
Thus on that Day no human or Jinn will be asked about his offences.
‘Will not be asked’ means Allah won’t conduct the trial of them or won’t give chance to them for rectifying their offences and sins. Instead the skins, sights, hands and legs, etc. of Mujirims will witness against them. Moreover, as explained in verses 17: 13-14 the book of deeds fasted upon their neck will be given to them as an illuminated open book and will be told to them you read your book, today you are enough for conducting your trial. Thus the trial of everyone will be conducted by each individual. It is told in verse 83: 15 that there will be an unseen veil between the Fujjar and Allah.
