(Annajm) 53 : 51
وَثَمُودَ فَمَا أَبْقَىٰ
And Thamood (people), none was spared.
The ‘latter Aad people’ were also gradually deviated from the Truth—the Straightpath—and Swalih was deputed to them as Messenger. But they rejected the Messenger and the Lord’s Message, and also plotted to eradicate Swalih and the believers with him. But in a dawn, Allah destroyed the disbelievers by a single blast and saved Swalih and the believers with him as explained in verses 41: 13-18. See explanation 27: 48-50; and 46: 34-35.
