Here, the Hereafter is mentioned first because the fourth phase of mankind in this world is for preparing Paradise for the seventh phase in the Hereafter, as explained in verse 76: 22. But only one in a thousand believer gives preference to the Hereafter over this worldly life. The hypocrites who are serving Satan prefer the worldly life, ignoring the Hereafter, so that their life will become lost on the Day of Judgment, as explained in verses 40: 78 and 85.
