(Al-Maeda) 5 : 27
وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ ابْنَيْ آدَمَ بِالْحَقِّ إِذْ قَرَّبَا قُرْبَانًا فَتُقُبِّلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمْ يُتَقَبَّلْ مِنَ الْآخَرِ قَالَ لَأَقْتُلَنَّكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللَّهُ مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ
And you explain upon them with Truth concerning Adam’s two sons, when they both presented sacrifices, it was accepted from one of them and not accepted from the other; He said: "Surely I will kill you"; the other said: "Indeed Lord Allah accepts only from the heedful".
