They said: "Oh Moses! As long as they are remaining in it, indeed we will never enter there, so both you and your Lord go and fight, indeed we are sitting here”.
Messenger Moses selected twelve captains from each of the twelve tribes of the Children of Israel and sent them to know about the situation in Palestine. After forty days they returned to Paran and said to Messenger Moosa at the assembly: "We went to the country, it is indeed a rich country, but its inhabitants are strong and powerful, we can’t go against them, we seemed ourselves as locusts". When the children of Israel heard all these, they cried the whole night. They wailed that if they had died in Egypt. They asked: "Why did Moses take us to that country and to be killed by the enemy?" They said to each other that they are returning to Egypt. Among the twelve captains sent out to explore Palestine, there was Joshua, the son of Noone, and Caleb, the son of Yafunna, who slit their garments and said: “The country we explored is a good country; if Jehovah blesses, He will give the country to us. Don’t fear them, we must entrust in Jehovah”. But the crowd rejected all these instructions. They turned against them and prepared to stone them. There flamed the anger of Jehovah. He decided not to give them the inheritance of the land. But He decided to give the land to their children and to those who were below 20 years old. But they can enter Palestine only after wandering forty years; that is, after the death of those who were above 20 years old except Joshua and Caleb. By this decision of Jehovah, it took 38 years to reach Jordan from the desert Paran. But within these 38 years, all those youths who were sent to explore Palestine and those who rejected the advice of Caleb and Joshua have died. But Caleb and Joshua were still alive. After the victory of Jordan, Moosa also died. It was under the leadership of Joshua that the Children of Israel got victory over Palestine.
The character and habits of Jews during the time of Messenger Muhammad in Medina were also the same as that of Jews at the time of Moses. Today, the Arabic Quran reading Fujjar all over the world are having a worst character and habit than any other people. Adhikr is revealed to punish the aimless hypocrites and their heedless blind followers as told in verses 33: 72-73. For the Fujjar, Lord has promised Hellfire as told in verses 2: 39; 9: 67-68; 48: 6, and 98: 6. The hypocrites who are knowingly hiding and distorting Lord’s Book will enter Fire even without Trial, whereas their blind followers will be led to Hell after Trial as explained in verses 4: 140 and 145. After thirty years of Messenger Muhammad’s departure, his people, the Fujjar have deviated from the Straightpath to crooked paths as explained in verses 3: 21-22. That is why on the Day of Judgment Messenger Muhammad will witness against them as explained in verse 2: 243. It is not the Impartial Lord who puts them into Hell, instead, it is the read, heard, and touched verses that will argue and witness against the Fujjar and push them into Hell as told in verse 15: 44 See explanation 2: 58, 89, 166-169, and 4: 78-79.
