(Al-Fath'h) 48 : 27

Surely, Allah has testified His Messenger’s vision with the Truth ‘if Allah intends certainly you will enter the Sacred Masjid securely as your heads shaved or cut in short without fearing’, then He knew what you don’t know, then He made a Nearby Victory besides that.

The vision of Messenger in his sleep was that Messenger and believers will enter the Sacred Masjid as shaved their heads and cut in short the hairs of the head without fearing anything or anyone. On the basis of this, in the sixth year of Hijra Messenger and believers started to Maccah for performing ‘Umra’. But on the way to there, the disbelievers were obstructing them at ‘Hudaibiya’ without allowing them to enter at Maccah. According to the Treaty made between the believers and disbelievers, in that year they had to return to Madeena without performing ‘Umra’ and in the coming year they can enter Maccah and perform ‘Umra’. So they sacrificed their sacrificial animals which they brought with them at ‘Hudaibiya’, and in the next year (seventh year of Hijra) according to the treaty, they went Maccah and performed ‘Umra’ safely. ‘The Nearby Victory’ mentioned in the verse is ‘Maccan Victory’ got to Messenger and believers in eighth year of Hijra. See explanation 32: 28-30; and 48: 1-3.
