(Muhammad) 47 : 26
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لِلَّذِينَ كَرِهُوا مَا نَزَّلَ اللَّهُ سَنُطِيعُكُمْ فِي بَعْضِ الْأَمْرِ ۖ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِسْرَارَهُمْ
That is because they said to those who hated what Allah sent down, “We will obey you in some matters,” while Allah knows their secrets.
“Those who hated what Allah sent down” refers to the Jews of Medina at the time of revelation of this verse, and “we will obey you in some matters” refers to the hypocrites of that period. Today, these two groups exist among the Arabic Qur’an Reading Fujjar who are the hypocrites and their blind followers. See explanation 5: 41, 64; 40: 19; and 59: 11-13.
