(Muhammad) 47 : 23
أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ فَأَصَمَّهُمْ وَأَعْمَىٰ أَبْصَارَهُمْ
Such are those whom Allah has cursed; thus He has made them deaf and has blinded their sight.
Adhikr is the only means to identify Allah, identify oneself, prepare Paradise here for the seventh phase, and annihilate all satanic footsteps, as explained in verses 2: 168-169. But the Fujjar, including the curse-affected hypocrites and their blind followers, do not utilize their faculties of intelligence to hear and see Adhikr. As explained in verse 8: 22, they are the worst among a thousand communities of the Lord’s creatures. In verses 33: 73 and 48: 6, it is stated that the Trust, Adhikr, was revealed to punish both groups. See explanation 2: 18, 171; 25: 33-34; and 42: 16.
