(Muhammad) 47 : 18
فَهَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا السَّاعَةَ أَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمْ بَغْتَةً ۖ فَقَدْ جَاءَ أَشْرَاطُهَا ۚ فَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمْ إِذَا جَاءَتْهُمْ ذِكْرَاهُمْ
Then what are they waiting for except the Last Hour to come upon them suddenly, while its signs have surely come? Then, when it comes upon them, how will their remembrance benefit them?
As explained in verses 29: 55-59, after receiving Adhikr—the Best—in the hearts’ language, the disbelievers who do not utilize It will be ready to believe when death or the Last Hour comes, but it will not benefit them. As told in verse 89: 23, when Hell is brought near, the human will remember, “If only I had utilized Dhikra—Adhikr.” It is told in verse 6: 158 that belief will not benefit any soul when some of the signs of the Lord come if it did not believe earlier.
