(Az-Zukhuruf) 43 : 59
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا عَبْدٌ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ مَثَلًا لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ

He is none but a servant upon whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel.

“We made him an example for the Children of Israel” means the Messenger Jesus is made a sign of Allah’s Power: his birth without a father; his speaking to the public while in the cradle; the constant presence of the Holy Spirit—Angel Jibreel—with him; Satan being unable to approach him; the table of food sent down from the sky for him; reviving the dead by Allah’s Permission; being raised bodily into the second heaven; and his second coming as a crucial sign of the Last Day—these distinguish Jesus from other Messengers. Through all these miracles, the Power of Almighty Allah is manifested via Jesus. See explanation 3: 49; 4: 171-172; 5: 116-118; and 9: 31.
