(Az-Zukhuruf) 43 : 32

Is it they who are sharing the Mercy of your Lord? It is We who have shared their livelihood among them in this worldly life, and We have raised some of them in ranks above others so that some of them may consider others as mockery, while the Mercy of your Lord is better than whatever they have been gathering.

The favor and Mercy of the Lord is Adhikr—the Prosperity. It is the Three-Time Knower, Lord Allah, who decides to whom, how, and when It is to be given. But the one-in-a-thousand believer only identifies this fact from Adhikr. The rest—999 in every thousand from among the Fujjar—hasten to gather worldly gains, forgetting the soul and the Hereafter; by their death, they will enter Hellfire, which is Satan’s house. They will ridicule the believers who are comparatively poor in sustenance and livelihood. But when they are gathered in Hellfire on the Day of Judgement and do not see these believers in Hellfire, they will say about the believers as explained in verses 38: 62-63: “What happened to us? We cannot see those whom we considered to be in evil; we considered them a mockery—nay, was our concept about them incorrect?” See explanation 6: 53; 10: 57-58; and 36: 47.
