And if Allah had given provisions abundantly to His servants, they would have transgressed in the earth, but he sends down in due measure as He wishes, indeed He is the Acquainted, the Observant.
Since in the earlier period the sustenance was given in limited quantity, bloodshed and all such mischievous activities were less compared to nowadays. But today mankind has earned sustenance abundantly by digging for petroleum, coal, gold, etc., and has made growth in industries by utilizing them, and has developed in agriculture using the genetic seeds, chemical fertilizers, pesticides, etc., and modern technologies. Thus, by forgetting the aim of life, they are enjoying heavenly life here itself. The Fujjar who are reading these verses in the Arabic Qur’an are at the forefront in leading a more luxurious life than other people all over the world.
Today, the availability of sustenance abundantly shows that the destruction of the earth and, thereby, the destruction of the universe is coming soon. On the Day when everyone will be assembled in the Hereafter, Allah will ask the saint people about the Fujjar as told in the verse 25: 17: Did you mislead these My servants, or did they stray themselves? The saint people will answer as told in verse 25: 18: Glory to You! It was not suitable for us to select any patrons besides You, but You have provided them and their forefathers' livelihood until they forgot Adhikr and became a worthless people. As told in verse 25: 29, on the Day of Judgment, these wrongdoers will wail, biting their hands: Woe to Me! Satan has prevented me from Adhikr after It had come to me.
The Last Hour will come when the people belonging to the community of Messenger Muhammad also become wrongdoers and transgressors, just like the Arabic Qur’an reading Fujjar as explained in verses 6: 45, and 46: 35.
Just before the arrival of Antichrist to annihilate Islam and implement Kufr, production of rain and food crops will become shortened. On his coming, the Fujjar will accept him as a prophet for getting rain and food, and later even as lord, as explained in verse 4: 159-160. See explanation 6: 158; 9: 65-66, and 41: 52-54.
