(Mu'amin) 40 : 75
ذَٰلِكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَمْرَحُونَ

That is because you were rejoicing in the land without Truth and because you were self-conceiting.

The Truth mentioned in verses such as 2: 119, 143; 7: 8-9; 10: 108; 39: 41, 69, and 75 is one of the 40 names of Adhikr. It is told in verse 16: 89 that Adhikr, which explains everything, is the Guidance, Mercy, and Glad Tidings for the Muslims who have submitted everything to Allah. But the Arabic Quran-reading Fujjar are undeservedly claiming and boasting that they are Muslims, the people of Messenger Muhammed, and the inmates of Paradise. Actually, they are the original disbelievers mentioned in verses 4: 150-151, and are the Mushriks (those who associate others in the dominion of Allah) by dividing into different groups and rejoicing with what they have, as told in verses 23: 52-53 and 30: 30-32. See explanation 3: 21-22, 196-197; 7: 146-147; 28: 76-77.
