(Mu'amin) 40 : 37
أَسْبَابَ السَّمَاوَاتِ فَأَطَّلِعَ إِلَىٰ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّهُ كَاذِبًا ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِفِرْعَوْنَ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ وَصُدَّ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ ۚ وَمَا كَيْدُ فِرْعَوْنَ إِلَّا فِي تَبَابٍ
The paths of the heavens, and I may take a peek to the Deity of Moses, and indeed I guess that he is a liar, and just like that it is made attractive to Pharoah his evil deeds, and he is obstructed from the Straightpath, and Pharoah’s plot caused nothing except his perdition.
Pharaoh was mocking so in the midst of the people to prevent them from the Message Moses was presenting to them. It was to make them believe that the Deity Allah, whom Moses was familiarizing them with, was hiding somewhere in heaven, without interfering in what was happening on earth.
